Newspapers were being splashed with articles of the tainted food products and the upcoming F1 race. Look at how the children from china were affected by it. They had been unknowingly consumed the milk powder for many years, it was only till then that the food safety watchdog ringed the alarm of the products being tainted with melamine. Melamine? It's a substance that "increased" the protein content of the products, giving an impression to the buyers that "Wow, this is beneficial for our health. Let's buy it." Furthermore, there were reports on the china officials pushing the blame to others instead of reproaching themselves. At this point in time, is it still important in the pushing of blame or to solve the tainted milk problem first? This is such a letdown.

Recalling an article that I had been reading a few days back, buyers were actually trying to blame the artistes who were asked to endorse the tainted products to clarify the matter. Why is this so? This is so unfair to the artistes themselves as they are purely victims too. Well, all I could say was that, the best way is to resolve the issue on hand first before tracing the source to either the food safety watchdog or the unscrupulous businessman.

Just this morning, there were addition to the tainted food products in Singapore. This of course caused anxiety over the much aggravated situation Singaporeans had in mind. This issue concerns the health, nothing but our own health. AVA had already stepped up the checks on various food products that they suspected on having contaminated milk in them. This reliefs me a little as I went to check the milo which I had just bought. "Not From China= Can Eat" mindset had been in me since the recent news reports. Hopefully, the tainted food products would remain at the the current number.

On a higher note, the F1 race will be on this weekend lasting for 2 days at marina. Many of us had certainly read about the road closures that had been ongoing days before the race had started. People who are working in the Marina area had been badly affected by it. But, what do you, as a Singaporeans, think about the first time ever F1 race in Singapore?

I applaud Singapore for the effort in the preparation for the F1 race for the past few months or even years in the construction of the route. For me, F1 race is a norm in other countries, for Singapore, all the more we should have it isn't it? A breakthrough in the Southeast Asian country to host the first ever F1 race. Nonetheless, this brings with it increase business oppurtunities to the vendors at Marina. The foreigners will be flocking over here to watch the much aniticipated event of Singapore.

Owing to the fact that there will be increase business and a new experience too, isn't is a very short lived event? Only two days spreaded over the weekends. Hmm. There's an analysis of the cost of the breakdown of the parts of the racing car - Ferrari, Renault etc. There's a journalist which commented on the win/lose of the game depends on the type of the car which is the most important part the engine which costs an average of $300K. I disagree with this. Having the best engine or the best racing car doesn't make you the winner of the race. It requires skills of the driver too. It takes two hands to clap right? =)

That's all readers. Goodnight. =)
