Hiya everyone. I have not updated my blog for so long le since the holidays started. On 12th Feb, mi, Sharni and Amanda went to Orchard for the personal make-up course, a self development programme. The place was amazingly cool and the presentor was quite good. I have learnt quite a few techniques in make-up. Hopefully I can apply these techniques in future.
These few days have been rather tiring. I found a job in my aunt's audit firm. All thanks to my aunt, Carina for the job. :) The current working environment was indeed a big contrast to my previous company. It was indeed an eye opener. It is my second day to work and my aunt went to the company very early in the morning. She left me alone to fend for myself and I have to find my way to the office by myself. As you know, I have no sense of direction and almost lost my way. Haha...
During lunch time, I went out together with my colleagues for lunch at a nearby food centre. The food there so-so only. Hmm... After lunch, we went to open up the hamper placed in the conference room. Although it looks nice on the outside, tearing up all the papers left only 2 red wine with 14% alcohol content, sweets, skylight abalone, nuts, soto crackers (my aunt tan chi, she took the whole bottle), birdnest and so on. Its V-Day. My aunt helps her former colleague, Raymond, bought a bouquet of lilies for his girlfriend. It costs 80 bucks lor, very ex. Sad case, she still needs to wait till he knocked off work at 6.30p.m to pass him the flowers. She needed to wait for him for around 1 hour. Luckily Irene was there to accompany her. Me went home liao lo, tiring leh, need to wake up so early and board the packed Mrt to work.
Back at home at around 7 plus. Ooh, guess what I saw. Its two boxes of New York pizzas. Heard from my Mum that it was a gift from my dad for V-Day. What a surprise, my dad still remember to buy a gift for my mum. Of course, she's happy. Its shaped in triangular form, different from the normal pizza that we have seen. Lols.
Got to go to bed le. If not late to work, its not good for a newcomer like me. Jiayou to all who are starting work or currently working. Cya soon.
